Our WP4086 Condition Monitoring System is a remotely operated device used for vibration analysis that surveys pre-determined critical vibration levels. The system monitors vibration levels on key components and provides exact vibration data, processed through a customized software package that can be installed as an integrated part of our wind turbine control system or as a stand-alone system.
The system carries out a set of highly advanced signal analyses that are configured by the user to suit different requirements. If the vibration parameters exceed the threshold, the WP4086 emits a warning or alarms. The WP4086 logs the warning or alarms in an internal log and activates built-in relay to control external equipment. The historical data can be transferred to a central computer for trend analysis and automatic report generation. The system can be delivered for implementation in existing wind turbines or as a built-in system for new turbines.
Included in the delivery is a complete software analysis package. The system offers a wide range of tools for managing the WP4086, e.g. downloading, visualizing signal processing results and automatic generating status reports. The system visualizes live vibration data and is applicable for trend analysis. Data is automatically stored in the WP4086 controller, transferred and stored in Gateway’s database, our SCADA system, and visualized by Gateway’s surveillance system.
