Danish Ambassador in Ukraine Visits Mita-Teknik
May 5th, The Ambassador of Denmark for Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia, Mrs. Merete Juhl visited Mita-Teknik in Lviv. The meeting was organized by the Danish Business Association as a part of the Ambassador’s official visit to the western Ukraine to meet with Danish businesses.
At the meeting, Managing Director of Mita-Teknik UA, Rostyslav Nakonechnyy presented the company and the delegation was given a tour of the premises. ”I believe that the Ambassador was quite impressed to see the effective cooperation between people of different cultures, which we practice here at Mita-Teknik. She was also quite surprised to see such an advanced research and development facility working within the field of wind energy in Lviv,” says Rostyslav Nakonechnyy.
Among the issues discussed were the general political and economic situation in Ukraine and its impact on the daily business, and also how the combined efforts of Mita-Teknik, the Danish Business Association and the Embassy can help fight corruption and open up new opportunities to Danish companies operating in Ukraine.
Also at the meeting, Mita-Teknik UA finalized an agreement with the Danish Embassy to participate in the Red Carpet Program (RCP). Under this program, Mita-Teknik employees in Ukraine will have more favorable conditions to obtain a Schengen visa at the Danish Consulate.
”In general, I think that the meeting was very successful. Mita-Teknik UA has the full support from the Embassy of Denmark both in our daily business and possible future business projects”, Rostyslav ends.
