Gender Balance, Management
Mita-Teknik’s Board has approved the following policies and targets for women in management, April 2013:
In selecting new candidates for Mita-Teknik’s Board and other levels of management, it is important that candidates have specific professional competencies and qualifications from listed companies and international experience. During the recruitment process, we always look for the best candidate for the job. Operating globally, Mita-Teknik regards a diverse workforce as an asset. Mita-Teknik hires on the basis of talent and personality and offers the same possibilities to all employees, regardless of their background, religion, political conviction, gender or age.
As a global organization with local representation all over the world, we have colleagues with various cultural backgrounds and our sites cooperate across borders. Know-how and innovation are our key competences and have made us the market- and technology leader of our industry.
Specifically in respect of gender, Mita-Teknik aims to retain and, if possible, increase the number of women in our management in the current strategy period. To be able to meet this goal, Mita-Teknik will ensure that employees and external partners involved will be fully informed that we have equality during potential recruitment processes. We will report on the above in the annual report and the annual UN Global Compact reporting.
